About

A community in the form of a restaurant.

Midst is a neighborhood restaurant built around the simple joys of present moments: small plates, good drinks, and the people you share them with. It’s where friends, neighbors, and newcomers meet in the midst of their day, and where everything else can wait a while.

The Space

A room where you’re never on the outside looking in, but part of everything happening around you. Whether you’re on your own, with someone close, or with a few friends, there’s a seat that feels right. It’s understated by design, so the focus stays on the food and the company.

The Kitchen

Small plates, made to share or to enjoy on your own: fresh vegetables, slow-cooked meats, and whatever the season brings. Order a few, and let the table decide what comes next.

The Crowd

Neighbors, old friends, first dates, and people on their own. Here, a glance becomes a hello, and a hello becomes a conversation. Come as you are, and you’ll find you fit right in.

Good company is what makes it, and what it makes, too.

The Concept

The name comes from the idea of “being in the midst”: right in the middle of a moment, instead of rushing past it. There’s no fixed beginning and no final destination, just the simple joys of the present, shared with the people around you. That idea shapes everything here, from the pace of the room to the way a meal unfolds.
